I've noticed that if some object is out of players view(look down ~45 degrees), object's reflection in water simply dissappears. It's look stupid. Is it possible to fix it somehow? How to force game engine to render all objects not only those, which are directly visible? Or at least increase players view's rendering cone...

Umm, I thought it was possible to activate the reflection rendering of everything (standard is just the world, not the players/objects) in water in the video options?
Or maybe I didn't understand your question well.
Could you explain what you mean using screenshots?
Default key is F5 for screenshots, the screenshots are stored in Steamapps/USERNAME/Half-Life 2/hl2/screenshots. Upload them to www.imageshack.us and post them here.

He means that if your directly looking at an object (a tree for instance) and can see it`s reflection in the water, you were to then turn your view so the tree in out of you FOV, but the reflection is till visible, then the tree also vanishes from the water.

I don`t think it can be fixed.

Erm, isn't it like that because that's how the eye actually works?
Or I may be misinterpreting the question.

Yes, you understood me correctly... Sorry for my english.
This glitch now is very annoing, because I see it all the time where is some whater in the game...

It would seem to me you would have to increase the amount of objects drawn to beyond your FOV. I have no idea how to do this or if it's even possible.
