Get ready for the next gen Western Digital Rapor drive to hit the scene.
If you didnt know already, WD's Raptor drivers are the legendary 10,000RPM SATA hard drives that have toped the performance charts for the past few years. Though untill now we've been limited to 35.7 and 74gig sizes. Pretty small for such an incredibly fast drive.
Now we have comming down the pipes is the new Raptor X which sports a respectable 150GB, the super fast 10,000RPM speed, a 16MB buffer, and now a transparent window of the platters (which is the newest trend).
Though it seems their making a huge deal over the window, which is cool and all... but how offten do you look at the HDD?
