im sure this has come up before, but does anyone know how to spawn a gun that has extra ammo?

This is what I suggest:

Example map with deagle, awp, and ak47. The gun and ammo both have to be as close to the ground as possible, with the ammo at the gun's center and parented to the gun. I've tested this several times from various angles and at various speeds. Only once have I not gotten the ammo, and when that happened I was able to get it by jumping (weird, eh?).
Interestingly, ammo seems to plummet to the ground instantaneously once the map begins. Even if it's in a parenting hierarchy, ammo will first move to the ground then start following the entity to which it's parented. That's why the gun here has to be as close to the ground as possible.
When a player picks up the gun, the gun leaps to his body, and the ammo entity follows it there. The player picks up the ammo when it follows the gun to him.
