basically it detects if you are cheating and if you are you get a flag put against your steam account if cheats are discovered again your steam account gets banned for a year

So ladies i suggest you dont use cheats

im gunna love it when VAC2 comes out

and there will be a flood of threads saying my steam account got banned for a year and it said i was cheating but my friend was using my pc playing cs and he loaded cheats on! help and all the shinanegans i

I knew there'd be something after it but i saw something about VAC on the Steam support site and it only said Valve Anti-Cheat so I thought I'd leave it at that. Plus i'm getting really ****ed off with everyone asking instead of actually trying to find out some other way

Also there is a search thread feature on these forusm whihc would allow you to search for the word vac through all the threads and get your info that way

Valve anti cheat away in which a server is coded and disallows cheaters from joining or crackers etc...

It basically detects the cheats on your computer alerts a server and then puts out to all VAC enabled servers that your steam id is one which has been used to cheat and then No luck for you trying to join vac enabled servers

Ah i see kool kool. Just upgraded to the Silver steam pack by the way for $11 coz i used an ati coupon so hehe im ready for the new update!
