Nah, it depends. I played ep2 first cos i really needed to find out the rest of the story. Then i played Portal and finally TF2

i played portal first. the story in ep2 is just so epic and i didnt want to just ruin that excitement by playing portal after it.

I guess its a good idea to play portal first though because then you can look for portal references in ep2.

Depends on if you have played the other games..
But I recommend Portal.. theres a section in Ep2 that you understand more if you know what Aperture Science is.

that's right! I have played all the half life games, but I think I'll play portal first. It'd be nice to play something that's different to anything I've ever played.. talking about the portal gun here

Yes, do you like TF2? Classic versions pretty fun it'd be nice to have a lot better graphics.

Actually, I think that Portal does a good job at training you bit by bit. After playing Portal, the flash version was really easy and I got to around level 35 until I got bored and quit.

I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with it because I keep jumping up to this platform and it's flinging me to nowhere, then I die. lol

Very excitable guy, aren't you?

Triple post is when you post 3 times in a row without editing your first post to add in new things. On this board "Edit" is the button right next to "quote." From now you'd be best off using that feature, because Samon, or any other mods might stomp your balls for posting more than once in a row.

Your best bet for completing that puzzle is to make a portal under you as you fall. You cannot make a portal on black squares, as you probably know, so here's how you beat the puzzle.

• Make a portal in the middle of the more clear white squares. (doesn't matter which kind, but I like to use orange for entrance, and blue for exit.
• Make a portal of the opposite color on the extended platform of the hallway you just came out of.
• Jump through the portal on the ground and for practice for upcoming puzzles, try to make a portal below you as you fall so that you can keep up your momentum, and fling through the forcefield.
• Make a portal where the orb is hitting the wall, and make another that will lead it into the chamber where the receiver is located. Crass into the forcefield as soon as the orb exits the portal. Make a portal on the wall where it's about to hit, or already has, and make another above the receiver so that it will go through.

I trust after that you can complete the rest. Just remember for the next jumping puzzle, you'll have to climb some stairs... as if that doesn't make the solution obvious enough.
