should I buy one for every controller? how do i know which games i need it for?

I don't think it would hurt to get one for every controller....but that would add up to a bunch of $$$ pretty quick.

I'm just getting one extra. Most 4-player games only seem to use the Wiimote.

Unless you're big into like Red Stell, only buying one extra nunchuck should help (in boxing).

I'd buy one for maybe two controllers and have the rest without. It seems most multiplayer games only use the Wiimote.

cool, thanks guys. i'm getting a wii, zelda, monkey balls, wii play with an extra wiimote by way of pre-order, and i'll try and pick up a nunchuck if there is one.

There is quite a few games that need the nunchuck, I'd just invest in another or how many other wiimotes you have.

i dunno why they didn't just sell each wiimote with a nunchuck, it could be a permanently attached thing with an internal cable that you can pull out, so you could click off the bottom of the wiimote and pull it away and he cable would be there. just an idea, and i bet a third party manufacturer is thinking the same thing.

Because lots of games don't even need the nunchuck. Most of Wii sports, Excite Truck, Tony Hawk, lots of Monkey Ball, Rayman, etc.

^ What he said.

They don't want to inflate the costs any more than they have to.

I'm just going to get one for each of my Wiimotes as I get them. Then I never need to worry. It's a one off investment and I regain the price of a nunchuck in only 3 hours work. Practically nothing.

Chuck Norris jokes have been dead for eight months now.

I'd say just have thet nunchucks for 2 wiimotes...That way your safe..and if you need more for some reason, they can bring their own ;)

Yes, you should most definitely make a new thread for each individual minor concern/question.

I mean... yeah, controllers. That.

i know it is a bit rediculous how many wii threads i made, sorry, guess i was just excited, i mean, i have made over one thread!! that's right a whole 2 threads! i hand my head in shame.

Maybe if the threads were all spelt and punctuated correctly, no one would complain.

Anyway, today me and my friends went into Game and ogled the Wii boxes. Then laughed at some people trying to pre-order the Wii. And then a shop assistant, announced "To save you the trouble, if anyone is queueing to pre-order the Wii, we sold out over a month ago and are no longer taking pre-orders until the new year."

About three-quarters of a really long line left. I then felt really special that I'd already pre-ordered it.
