aparently this "perfect10" company is bullying smaller website about copyrights,and they blame google because the sites obvioulsy show when you search for lets say a model or whatever.This seems 2 be old news but still I think its pretty stupid.what pisses me off the most is that my favorite wallpaper site "skins.be" is liste as well.



whats your thoughts on this?

Basicly, any court will notice that perfect 10 isn't protecting it's assets well enough, becaues if they aren't protected, IE just in a dir, they are on the web, which means anyone could view them with a browser and hence it's not googles fault for showing them. The comapany is showing their own images on the web. It's their own fault.
 
Perfect 10 employee - "Boss, we just noticed google has indexed all our images. This means that anyone can access them, because we haven't properly password protected our site. Do you want us to fix it? Won't take long"

Perfect 10 boss - "Hell no, just because its our fault dosen't mean others can't be blamed. Pass me that lawyer over there. ta. Right, google, have it"

Don't you have the ability to set exclude lists for the googlebot? I thought robots.txt was Web Design 101. And what I want to know is how Google robot gets into areas that aren't supposed to be accessible except to subscribers. You can't sue Google for accessing content that isn't secure, right?
