Yo homiez..help me out on HL2 problems

my 5.1 wont work right..only sound comes thru center channel :farmer:


yes i have it on 5.1

actually when i put it on 2speaker or headphone i can finally hear the music and other speakers, but not the rear. Whats up?

Have you set up teh speaker configuration in teh hl2 settings, I know you can choose 5.1 from teh options.

yeah, i chose 5.1 ..doesn't work.

I have heard of people having problems with 5.1 setups in HL2. I can only recommend that you upgrade your sound drivers and also run any speaker configuration tests that came with your soundcard/motherboard (if its onboard). I'm sure that some other people will post other recommendations too.
