Some of you may notice that a small pop up widget has appeared in the bottom left hand corner of the screen while browsing the site.

On May 26th 2011 a new EU originated law came into effect that requires website owners to be more transparent regarding their usage of cookies on websites.

Specifically ValveTime.net uses cookies to save your logged in status and track that you have visited the site (simply so we can gauge how many visitors we get).

By using ValveTime.net this implies the consent that you allow us to use cookies in this way. If you do not consent to this, you may be able to control how cookies are used either through your browser or third party add-on.

What? What are you foreigners up to now?

Hotlinks are fixed... boring sods.

How do you make the damn green triangle go away.
You don't.

Well you could, but that kind of defeats the point.

You'd need to inject some custom CSS in using a browser plugin.

I have removed the green triangle. Because I'm nice like that...

A lot of websites are relying on "implied consent" which is somewhat of a loophole to this stupid law.

You could put a Cookie Law text link on the bottom bar beside Terms and Rules or something.
