Anyone here listen to this band? I've been on a Jet roll for a while. For those who don't know this is a rock and roll/alternative band from Australia, sounds like a mix of Oasis+Elvis Presley i guess.

Some songs:

Sort of liked Are you gonna be my girl

Anyway, this band is just fantastic. I love their sound, love their style. That's all...

I like it, mind you I've only heard a few songs (Including the much popular Are You Gonna Be My Girl; which I think is a ****ing fantastic song.)

Pretty boring and derivative tbh..

All I see you listen to is BritRock. I know you listen to that band Blood Arm i think, which is the only non-uk band I've seen you listen to which are signed to a UK label anyway. And you keep trashing alot of other bands as "toss-wank." It's a little close-minded don't you think, but then again, I might be wrong...

I love this band, and as much as you think it is overpopular, overplayed and overly derivative, I still love this band.

Most I've heard of them was them at Big Day Out. They were playing while I was in the line to enter the main stage where Tool played :D

I like listening to Jet when on holiday. There is something inoffensive about listening to their music by the pool. I don't think I've ever listened to them casually at home.

I do like them though. Odd.

I gotta say The Blood Arm are better, seeing as they were mentioned in this thread.

This is what I listen to:

Out of the top 10 most listened to - 2 are French, 3 are American and the other five are British, but are hardley all in the same genre.. electro, dubstep, mash-up/party rnb, garage rock etc..

I consider myself very open minded when it comes to music - I'll listen to anything and see if I like it :)
