woot..

I've not heard much NiN stuff, might check out the new album if I can be arsed.

ARGHHHH bleedthrough was a much better name.

but then again "pretty hate machine" isnt a great name either.

for me the album can be named 'strawberry marshmallow zombie massacre because I love you reloaded' - as long as the music is good it doesn't matter.:p
judging from previous NIN releases we really don't have to worry about the album's content.

is there any release date?

None so far. I wouldn't really expect one until an official press release of some sorts, which I have a feeling we won't be getting for quite a bit.

Christ... how long was I asleep for? Its still 2005 right?...

Thank god the waits over... shame he took *6* years over it, lets hope its worth it.

Now its Tools turn for a collective internet kick up the ass...

i have been waiting a while now and well none of NiN's work has ever disappointed me so..
i did like the name "Bleed Through" for the album but whatever...as long as the content is good :)

Any guesses to what context "with teeth" (withteeth??withteeth!!) may be in? Title of a song? Maybe part of the lyrics?

I think it's just a statement. "Nine Inch Nails: With Teeth". Trent did say it would be a lot more raw than The Fragile.

So with teeth (with teeth?? with teeth!! WITH TEETH?????) should be alot more synthasised like earlier on? or does that mean more acoustic/ less synth?

I was thinking along the lines of Broken. But who knows what he's done? Best to get rid of any pre-conceptions now, rather then risk being dissapointed.

Just thought I'd raise this topic up with some release date news. It might not be from an official press release or anything, but at least it's something. :)

According to a representative at Universal in Sweden, NINE INCH NAILS' new album, "With Teeth", will be released in Europe on May 2 — presumably one day ahead of its North American release date (as is common practice for established international recording artists).

As previously reported, "With Teeth" will contain 12 tracks, and is said to be "more song-orientated" than 1999's "The Fragile".

"With Teeth" was recorded in part at Sound City Studio in Van Nuys, Ca., and features a guest appearance on drums by former NIRVANA drummer/current FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl. Mixing duties were handled by Alan Moulder (THE CURE, SMASHING PUMPKINS).

NINE INCH NAILS' current touring lineup is believed to include drummer Jerome Dillon, bassist Jeordie White (a.k.a. Twiggy Ramirez, A PERFECT CIRCLE, ex-MARILYN MANSON) and keyboardist Alessandro Cortini.

All together now....

My name does not rhyme with Teeth.

EDIT: I remember reading that it was meant to be rawer with less guitars but Trent has said that he changed the name when the direction of the album changed. So it could be anything really. I'm rather excited.

The only direction change was that it isn't as conceptual as when he first started; it's more song-orientated now. That's what warranted the name change. I think an album called 'With Teeth" by a band called Nine Inch Nails is going to sound a bit edgy. :)
