Those are some good memories indeed! It amazes me that some mod teams have still made mods using this engine with incredible gfx! I vaguely remember a Dragonball Z mod for GoldSrc that had looked very impressive.

IMHO, Valve does not need E3 as much as E3 needs Valve.

I think these will be easier to write since they are true sequels and not prequels. It seems more difficult to write a prequel and have it connect to what's already canon.
