Yeah, I think the point was he was a guy working behind the scenes. It felt like he was either on your tail or in the area for a reason. Maybe watching your progress... I don't think his presense was misplaced at all, maybe missunderstood... I just can't get over that wierd pause in his speach.

I dunno if it was the sound studder or what but with the way it ended and his rythm of speach I think the Gman is a robot of somekind. Maybe he suffers from some neuro damage? It's just everyones elses speach flows well but his, as if there are intentional breaks in what he says, dramatic...

I'm thinking tommorows update will handle the shudder prob for good, just wondering if there will be any FPS gains and why would Steam being open effect your FPS enough to be noticeable...

It's a bio weapon (active). Combine (from what I saw), shot up the zombies, which were civilian and resistance fighters that had been effected by their bio weapon, made sense to me they were shooting em. Kinda hard to be an effective resistance fighter with a headcrap on top.

DX9 card but will run in DX8. will play well and only look good if you want to play at 11fps or so with all the settings turned up.

Yeah I noticed them but very rarely, I think I had more blasts from the overwatch cannon than the striders, which was a cool effect but not as good as the strider blast.

Well I beat the game in under 12hrs, can I post the pic of him at the end? sheesh, no long enuff at all, six years for that :( guess I'll have to go back and play again to get my moneys worth, wonder if you can spawn tri pods...
