Random question: anyone played this using an ati 4670? That's my current GPU. It's on an i7 950, but I'm wondering if the 4670 will be up to the job at reasonable framerates? It manages L4D2 pretty well - is it likely to be about the same?

Nice little writeup here. I guess to put it in perspective, it's surely got to be less damaging than the half-life2/steam affair. Still, they do seem to have managed to annoy at least 50% of their fanbase massively, which is probably not the outcome they wanted...!

You can see the time difference if you compare the first line of the 'glados textual output' to the main countdown. It's currently running at 2 and half hour's earlier to the original time. I presume if all the games 'computations' complete, the launch will take place - but no, not in time for...
