Grenades don't blow people apart, they shower shrapnel from the casing (and sometimes pellets of metal) at high velocities... which of course imbeds itself in any "soft targets" who may be nearby. Real life != Quake Deathmatch I don't know if the force of a grenade explosion would blow...
