the single player is a solid 9/10 for me, minus one point because untill the last 3rd of the game it all seems a little disjointed and unclear as so what youre doing in these different places, but then it all does come together. other than that it is OUTSTANDING, i havnt litterally had my jaw...
aside from the obvious plot holes, technically this scene is amazing, people hide in shops and if you shoot out the windows they run out, some of the other civillians help the wounded, there are wounded crawling all over the place, there are security guards making fumbling attempts to stop you...
i think the controls are fantasic, you really get a sense of 'wieght' to isaac clunking around in a big heavy suit without him feeling like the walking-tank you describe.
i sold my wii (to buy a new camera) a couple of months ago after having it 2 years and probably playing it about 200 hours total, my kids stopped playing it too.
in the end i was only using it for the gamecube games, so i just dug out the gamecube.
the new nintendo adverts on telly are...
i seriously regret trading in deadspace (on the 360) it was brilliant and i really feel like playing it again. the missions do get a LITTLE samey but the whole game oozed atomosphere and the dismembering mechanic never grew stale.
absolutely fantastic work, i think the only thing i would change on that sniper is to make the jacket khaki to fit in more with the indian-hunter asthetic, other than that everything in this thread is golden.
i think the game is very well constructed but overall average for me. not enough variation in the enemies and far too little story make it too grindy at times.
