    Assault and Anti-Tank.

This may be a bit random. I'm not trying to write an essay here so bear with me! I'm also not sure whether most of this applies to you or not, but I figure it is a good exercise for me to jot it down anyways. I love playing anti-tank, but it requires you to be far sneakier than many of the...

    Recommend me good Progressive/Trance/Techno/Metal/whatever.

For an interesting blend of progressive, house, trance, and breaks (in various combinations) see: http://www.hybridized.org/ Of particular interest are Greg Benz and Digital Witchcraft. This probably won't enthuse people who are used to random squealy noisy stuff, but I'm quite fond of it...

    Castro dying, gives up power

This is a strong indicator of how strongly propaganda works. Cuba and Iran and Korea and Iraq are talked about constantly, but you rarely hear a thing about smaller nations with far more suffering. Next time somebody complains about Cuba, or Korea, I'll ask them about one of these...

    Castro dying, gives up power

How many people leave Cuba by 'rowboat' each year? How many of them are political dissidents who don't agree with the system, versus refugees leaving the country for quality of life reasons? Judging this whole thing is not simple. You can say Castro is a tyrant who oppresses his people, but...

should gym in high school be mandatory?

They need to make gym class more than the recruitment method for the school's sports teams--something that interests kids in physical activity when they are young, and encourages them into keeping the habit for the rest of their life. I don't think gym class should be designed for athletes...

    Gg Bf2....

You might have a low latency but high packet loss. You can find some online tools for checking your connection quality at: http://www.broadbandreports.com/tools Line Packet Loss Testing might be of interest. It could also be all sorts of spyware and whatnot on your computer--but I assume...

4 killed when Israeli bomb hits U.N. post

It would explain why Isreal doesn't really trust the UN, though. Aside from their long and varied history with the UN...

the next Ipod? "no touch" touchscreen

There is the possibility that you could completely redesign your interface, since it is virtual. For those people who don't like the iPod interface they could replace it with one of their own. That's assuming Apple, notorious for being assholes about that sort of thing, let you do it.

40,000 canadians trapped in lebanon, 7 killed by israeli bombing

How do I know it wasn't the Isrealis who started 'it'? What was it that was started, anyways? Conflict in general isn't anything new, that much is obvious. I wish it were so simple, but I don't believe that it is.

40,000 canadians trapped in lebanon, 7 killed by israeli bombing

You make some very fair points. I suppose the reason I am hesitant to support either side in the Isreali/Palestinian conflict is because it is hard for me to see that either side is supporting the civilians trapped in the middle.

40,000 canadians trapped in lebanon, 7 killed by israeli bombing

Regarding neutrality: why do you have to pick one of the two warring sides? I don't believe we have to stick to the standard definition of black and white: supporting one side in the annihilation of the other (or simply the defeat of the other). I don't consider myself neutral--I am on the...

40,000 canadians trapped in lebanon, 7 killed by israeli bombing

Regarding Isreal's seemingly absurd reaction to this, it is evidence of something deeper going on. I don't believe Isreal is insane, they have always acted in an extremely ruthless manner. Something else is going on--this is part of a larger war. And as much as we like to pretend otherwise...
