ok my computer recognizes it now and the usb...now to find a good burning program....ive tried to use nero but like 20 seconds through it gives me blue screen error thing so i will need another burning program for iso's

Ive tried to update drivers for it but it says that its not connected which is logic cause its not beign recognized

do u think it could be the USB drivers?

Well first off ive bough a Sony External dvd write drive...and when i plug it into one of my usb ports it windows says that its an unknown device...any thoughts on this? :(
