hopefully you're right there. it wouldn't seem right to me ending this series with one of the episodes. they are a quality addition to hl2, but not that much different to be seen as a half life 3, so why not come up with a new game engine, a complete new setting, and call it a day! its story...

one could think this is a completely different game. nice - it seems they really put some work into it.

valve probably thought, it's better to head a different direction with team based shooters ala battlefield are already filling this sub genre. so, this toy story look and feel(?) may be something to get used, but aside from this i don't think it will get any worse. ;) i have trouble imaging...

since i dig all the half life stuff in general, it makes it even more a shame that i've never played them. on the other side, gunman balanced that out - it's awesome if you expect nothing, and get all. :) even though it was the german version, what means cowboys = shiny robots. i'm shocked...

i like the headcrab and the dog/strider poster. extra shipping costs to europe are extra nuts, so this stopped me from ordering those items. where does it actually say this? i looked under "ordering & payment", but couldn't see anything. well.. you could ask a us citizen to order it for you...
