We aren't necessarily going to the actual Arctic. I'm pretty confident that we will heading to the peak you can see from White Forest. It has snow, it is constantly shown as a destination getting closer in Episode Two. And when the rocket launches the mountain is always in the background...

Agreed. Even though there's no combat I really like those chapters.
