no i mean 9000, i know it sounds stupid. but honestly on dx 8.1 mode it played it nearly as well as my 9600.

i run CSS on all high, 1024x768 no aa or af and i get around 30fps evenly on 20 or so player servers, DOD:S is nearly exactly the same performance wise, and i have HDR on full, textures and models on medium though, (looks the same as high on css imo.) I'm running amd xp2600 @ 2.13ghz...

the barrell on the tank doesn't need any more sides really, it's just not been smoothed properly. when it has it'll look way rounder.

heh, AOL Broadband isn't as bad as people make out, just use the dialler instead of AOLs Browser. as that takes up over 40mb of ram in taskmanager :X but hey, no download limits like a shitload of other browsers!

just use windows movie maker, it's an easy effective compressor. it'll get your point accross. divx is pretty much useless in this case. you really shoulda just recorded a demo though like the other guy said.

my point was THE MODEL doesn't have frets. high poly modelling = add as much detail as possible. Frets are 3d, they should've been modelled ideally if you were going for 'high poly'. imo.

if it's high poly, meaning. add as much detail as possible. what happened to the frets?
