I don't see the problem.
If some guy wants to drive way up my ass, I just let him, and casually drive at the limit. He's not gonna get anywhere any faster, he'll just get pissed off that I'm "slowing him down".
And after all, if he slams into the back of me, the law states quite clearly...
God I don't know why but Gabe abuse always makes me laugh.
Still, it's a bummer the timer keeps increasing. I'm getting slowly but surely more drunk as the evening wears on, my motor skills will no doubt be impaired by the time I can play it! I apologise in advance if anyone ends...
Awww, it's like Valve knew it was my birthday and gave me a game :3
Apparently it doesn't unlock for another two hours, so for the time being I'm going to remind myself how much fun this was back when it was a UT2k4 mod.
Anyway, who's gonna be playing this? Soldiers, report! :borg:
With regard to the length- What about multiplayer? This is how FPS games are traditionally supposed to show you your money's worth. I would have thought this would be especially true of a game that tries to be deliberately old-skool.
I'll probably wait for a steam sale of some kind myself. I'm...
I never said it wasn't, and I don't disagree with you, frankly.
However it does infuriate me to see these people, clearly still comfortable and safe in their homes, coming out with such genius quotes.
Eh, I thought you might interpret it as such, however I do not do it to purposefully antagonise people. Merely to stir up debate.
That's true. However my point stands; as you say, it did not dissuade Russian aggression in post-war Germany. I would posit that it infact accelerated Russian...
From the looks of things, more than you do ;) Would you deny that this display of nuclear power, and more importantly willingness to use such force, by the USA was a contributing factor?
But I'm not here to argue. I just like posing controversial opinions.
Meh. Bring on the post apocalypse, I might finally get to use my crowbar and survival rations.
Also, and this is only partly related, and based on massive generalisation; I find it hard to sympathise for the people affected by this disaster when they come out with crap like "THIS IS WORSE THAN...
It may have been necessary, yes.
An altogether much more relevant and important question, in my eyes, is whether it was worth it. After all, this was the event that saw the beginning of the Cold War, that came to dominate the latter half of the 20th century, and had an immeasurable impact on...
Hell yes, probably my favourite multiplayer game ever.
What the hell they were thinking with UT3 I have no idea. I thought they had learned their lesson with the way everyone hated 2003, I thought they'd build on the success of 2004, but no, they made the exact same mistakes all over again...
If you want to be pedantic, there were songs you can call thrash going as far back as the mid 70s, but the genre came into concrete existence with that album.
Also The Mechanix may have been written first, but it's also an absolutely awful song.
