Steam Update - Now Find and Copy in Web Browser

Hurray ! I often use the steam browser while dead in game and have missed not having basic features like find.

    The Sacrifice is Now Available!

I wish they would do a couple of days pre-loading before a popular release, every time the content servers have a melt down, steam plays up, and people get annoyed.

Garry's Mod Released for Mac (+50% Off)

Great stuff, purchased a copy for a friend, just a shame about its dependency on counter-strike for textures.

Valve Releases Alien Swarm on Source, Free of Charge

That is awesome, I really enjoy co-op games :)

What happened to the Forums? Why's "Games and Gaming" gone?

I second that, at the moment if you are not logged in the whole off-topic section is invisible. If you are new to the site, you won't even know it exists, probably reducing the chances of someone signing up, since that is the popular section of the forum. The parent section should be public...

Friday Steam Round Up - April 16th

Horay at the social club removal, that piece of crap was annoying.

Friday Steam Round Up – 19/03/10

Purchased Bad Company, was waiting for the first batch of bugs to be fixed. Has a scary long license agreement, with 'you agree that any breach will cause irreparable harm to EA' and that they can take your soul in return. Metro 2033 link gives me a 'unavailable in your region', for anyone...

Steam Client Update Deletes all Steam Community Friends

Yeah mine disappeared, was glad to see them back today. The only thing is I have to re-approve friends which were previously on my list, and had re-add me during the disappearance, before they showed up.

Friday Steam Round Up - 19/2/2010

Here are my updated thoughts on AVP: - Single player is very good, dispite some stupid marine ai. Recommend going straight for hard instead of normal. Just beware relying on the autosave, it only uses one slot, replay the mission or start a new game and it will be wiped. - Multiplayer is good...

Friday Steam Round Up - 19/2/2010

Currently downloading AVP but is going to take 3 hours. Shattered Horizon is certainly better with the recent patch, I enjoy now having voice comms, and not being visor shot from behind. Still lacks co-ordinated team play and in door space environments, but the all angle gameplay is certainly...

    The Passing DLC Walkthrough Video

They deliberatly miss out the first map in the campaign, so not spoil the original survivors meeting. The map areas they do show are dark and pretty standard so I doubt would spoil anything. To sum up the video the M60 looks badass and gibs everything, once the ammo runs out you need to replace...

The GraviNull mod looks like it could be fun :)

    Friday Steam Round-up 22/1/2010

Looking forward to Aliens vs Predator, though may end up having nighmares. I was tempted to buy the cheap original which I used to enjoy, but think it would ruin good memories looking back at the graphics now :)

Jailbreak: Source 0.6 Released + Exclusive Interview

Gave this go, and was impressed at the quality, the maps were nicely designed, and the game was really fun to play, for the first couple of rounds. As others have mentioned, it went down hill with the slightly better team becoming more and more powerful with perks. At one point we started...

    Natural Selection 2 Pre-order Bundle + Competition

Probably not the most sensible move as I like all my games to be on steam, but parted with £25 to show my support. I have fond memories of NS1.0 which cost nothing but meant a lot, the bunny game I only vaguely remember. I was suprised to see that both games are using custom made engines...
