I wish they would do a couple of days pre-loading before a popular release, every time the content servers have a melt down, steam plays up, and people get annoyed.
I second that, at the moment if you are not logged in the whole off-topic section is invisible.
If you are new to the site, you won't even know it exists, probably reducing the chances of someone signing up, since that is the popular section of the forum.
The parent section should be public...
Purchased Bad Company, was waiting for the first batch of bugs to be fixed. Has a scary long license agreement, with 'you agree that any breach will cause irreparable harm to EA' and that they can take your soul in return.
Metro 2033 link gives me a 'unavailable in your region', for anyone...
Yeah mine disappeared, was glad to see them back today.

Currently downloading AVP but is going to take 3 hours.

To sum up the video the M60 looks badass and gibs everything, once the ammo runs out you need to replace...
Looking forward to Aliens vs Predator, though may end up having nighmares.
I was tempted to buy the cheap original which I used to enjoy, but think it would ruin good memories looking back at the graphics now :)
Gave this go, and was impressed at the quality, the maps were nicely designed, and the game was really fun to play, for the first couple of rounds.
As others have mentioned, it went down hill with the slightly better team becoming more and more powerful with perks. At one point we started...
Probably not the most sensible move as I like all my games to be on steam, but parted with £25 to show my support. I have fond memories of NS1.0 which cost nothing but meant a lot, the bunny game I only vaguely remember.
I was suprised to see that both games are using custom made engines...
