can you noclip in the "redletter day" chapter, behind the hev suit in the glass? If not, then just (as mentioned before) get a screenshot from hl1 multiplayer. I doubt there are THAT many differences between the hl1 and hl2 hev suit. I'm sure it would look good enough.

Yes, it really adds a lot to this forum. I'm glad we have an *official* thread for this, as I was having so many problems activating HL2 via steam at this very moment.
While I agree that many of the people who got it early knew about the release, you'd probably be surprised how many people just pick up games on a whim at their local Wal-Mart. Not every fan of Half-Life reads the forums every day, you know.
Valve has two reasons to release early:
A. To avoid all of the headaches resulting from the retail customers who want to know why their game isn't working. The last thing valve wants to do is anger the people who bought their game.
B. To make more money from steam sales (assuming VU lets...
