Countries like Australia have anti-gun laws. Sure if you really want you can get a license to have one for the farm/recreation/whatever but the fact is you need to get a license, and you can't generally buy ridiculous automatic rifles and so fourth without reasonable explanations.

I reckon the portal gun will be able to make portals in mid-air.
(in ep3, not portal)
Then portal gun v gravity gun = portal gun wins.
Gravity gun fire a explosive barrel at you.
You make a portal in mid air in front of you.
Then one above the opponent. And BOOM!.
Oh and the massive views that were there every now and again like just at the start of the portal were impressive. The source engine is staying strong to looking pretty damn sexy still, despite it's age.

i actually now realise how much more awesome a properly optimised game is. I swear that was running at 100+ fps on my 3 year old pentium 4 at everything max settings. 4xAA 8xAF... what the hell. (Compared to games like bioshock or whatever where i struggle to get 30fps).

The hardest bit of the whole game for me was the portal you need to do after taking all the turrets and getting up to the bit where the two turrets get craned in from above. I felt sooo stupid once i figured it out. Just can't get my head around the momentum sometimes.
it might be short... about 7 hours for me... but it is one of the BEST gaming experiences out there. Bioshock took me 8 and a bit hours to finish and that cost me 90 bucks AUD whereas the Orange Box cost me < $60 AUD or whatever. Hm.... wonder which is cheaper?

Can someone tell me if the widescreen in the demo is broken like Bioshock???
Cause I'm pretty sure that the dev's don't know how to use the UT3 engine. As MOHA and Bioshock both have crappy fov's for widescreen. (Exactly the same implementation). So does UT3 fix this? (It should as epic made...
