Just a question: Why wasn't Counter Strike Online not released on Steam?

Counter-Strike Online was only released in Asia as it was by Nexon as a means of trying to make Counter-Strike popular in a region typically not "associated" with first person shooters. Since the business model was reportedly successful, they're probably ready to try and get a decent following in the West with a free-to-play version of CS for those not interested in the "seriousness" or 1.6, Source, or Global Offensive.
