7.93 Rad 9800 Driver BUG

I have my card on the following settings:
1280x1024 32bpp
AA 4x
ANI FILT 8x
TEX PREF: HIGH
MIPMAP DETAIL: HIGH
Wait for VSYNC: On
TRUFORM: App Pref
AGP: 8x
FAST WRITE: ON
REFRESH: 75
I am using MSN Messenger 4.7

If you are playing Half-life and get a message, you can suddenly see through the walls for a brief amount of time, this will only happen once per play.

It could be classed as a cheat but so far it's not a longterm thing.

If it happens in every game, its a driver bug.
If it happens in one game, its a game bug.

This is a typical game bug, most likely involving the OpenGL engine and Windows.

I use a geforce 2 mx400 on this computer and it happens sometimes, on the other computer with an ati radeon 9800 i dont see that happen but ive only used it alittle bit to play halflife.

theneb - you should turn off FAST WRITES, more often than not it does help people experiencing issues with their ATi cards. I don't know if that it'll help with your problem, but turning off FAST WRITES is highly recommended if you're expericing issues, stability and what not.
