A big problem...

Hello,

I have read that with steam you don't have to download any patches for Half-life or his mods.

You just have to launch steam and click the game to play and it will update automatically the mods you want to play. Ok.

But I have a computer that are not connected to Internet and my question is : how can I play on this computer cs 1.6 ?

And my computer that is on Internet has a very low connection (Modem 56ko). I can't have any high speed connection because I live in a small village...
So I take usually the patches from a PC Magazine... With Steam that will be no more possible...

well, u wont have to patch the game, because Steam will patch itself, those files arent gonna magically get into your computer

You wont be able to play CS unless you have some bots, and if you already have 1.6 on your computer :/

ONly choice is to download steam with Cs off some site.

The download will be like 450 megs (steam updated, adn cs)

Hopefully once cs1.6 is released out of beta it will run just like cs1.5, without the need for steam.
