Wouldn't it make more sense to swap the KGB and the equalizer?

Not really. Crockets are a horrible force to give the Soldier to play with (even if you have to be really skilled or lucky to pull off the kill) and the Heavy already has the GRU. Even if the Heavy didn't have the GRU I think that would be a bad idea.

Oh man... wait until I get to play with the Powerjack before the nerfage happens. Seriously though, I haven't seen enough of the powerjack to know if it's overpowered, and soldiers typically use the pick to survive a limp back to spawn - I don't see many attacks with it.
Now that I think about it... I rarely see pyros using the powerjack at all. The few that pull out their melee weapon invariably have the axtinguisher.

Wouldn't it be simpler to just remove the speed boost from the Equalizer? The shovel would then be more appealing because it'll deal more damage when you're at high health.
As for the Powerjack, I haven't really seen much of it. I was surprised at the health it gives you on a kill though.
