Strider getting (almost) killed is available in the gamespot movie, the one with techno music in the background.

Now the APC isn't really a demo like the rest, it's actual gameplay thats described in many magazines. I think I read 3 different versions of it:

1. Gordon hides and watches Ant Lion Guard hit the APC. APC shoots a flare to call in a gunship. Ant Lion guard knocks the APC off a cliff killing the occupants. When gunship arrives it kills the Ant Lion Guard.

2. Same thing except the gunship arrives in time and kills the Ant Lion Guard before it knocks the APC off.

3. Gordon distracts the guard and hides inside an old submarine. However the smaller ant lions chace after him and kill him there.

its the one off game spot it has flying saws flying around kiillin things and in the end the guy gets killed my that blue snake like thing in the end

I'm pretty sure they got to see a strider actually die. I remember reading a small snippet about it in an article, and the author was saying how impressed he was with its death animation and how realistic it seemed. :cheers:

It's hard to notice in the e3 movie, but when the strider walks the screen shakes and there are some bad-ass stomping sounds. This should look very impressive in the direct feed.
