It took me an hour and a half to install-update Steam-create an account-unlock game files-update HL2 and then finally play...this is on a retail puchace.
If this is the way forward this is going to drive people to go for consols rather than PC games. I don't mind online activation..like WinXp very quick & easy.. but this drove me mad.
At least the wait was worth it though-truly stunning so far.
