Well, i have replayed Half life on my new computer, and i have gotten to the citadel. Well, when i got to a point where my game crashed, when you veiperised your enemys with does balls thats bonce everywhere.
Well so i re enterd the game and some text appers on the screen saing Nod graph out of date rebuilding, and AI-disabled.
So i put it back on. And my game crashed again. I have windows x64

It verifies that the games files are not corrupted, and downloads replacements if they are.

Well, that didnt work. I reinstalled it too.
It onely crashes when i send someone into a beam or send one of those balls at a combine, and thet are about to get vaiperised. So can it be some missing models or somthing? I have no idea.

Realy sorry to double post here but i realy need help.
Edit: It onely crashes on a npc, i can send a dead combine into a beam and nothing happens.

Well, I don't know how you would fix the problem, so here's a workaround:
Aim at the NPC that is following you (they will probably get beamed and crash the game)
Type in the console "impulse 203"
This deletes the current entity that is under the crosshair.
The NPC should just disappear.

Have you set the DirectX level higher than your card is able to handle? I'm wondering if the "vaporising" bit is using a shader or such that your card can't handle?

Well i have radeon X850, but i had an older on my old computer and nothing went wrong there.
