Airboat stuckage

Ok, I know this isn't really much, but I found it hillarious.

I doing a photorun of hl2 (playing on hard and taking as much screenies as possible) and came to the part in Water Hazard where you have to drive over the sunken pipes. So I come flying out of the top pipe at full speed, and right as i'm about to exit on the far pipe, a heli grenade goes off on my left and sends me and my airboat flying through the air. I wait a bit, for my airboat to level itself back out, but it doesn't happen. I get out of the airboat to see if it'll do it without the extra weight, and I cracked up at what I saw.

I got out and snapped a photo as fast as I could. I would've taken more screenies at different angles, but as you can see, my health was pretty low and that chopper was still on my ass.

I ran up into the pipe and got behind my airboat. I strategically dropped a few grenades behind it, and with the added help of the physics engine, my airboat went flying into the sky, and landed perfectly on its bottom.

it's not uncommon for frames to spike in low poly areas/low geometry; but that could be consistent fps...not sure..it's not mine

Haha. Around 80 is my consistent fps.

Here's something else to tickle your funny bone.

I saw my opportunity, and was trying to get a picture of this guy ready for battle. Oddly enough, upon further examination of the screenie, it appears as if he looked at me and gave me a smirk as I shot it.

What cracked my ass over was that, it looks like he's trying to hit on poor old Gordy. Homofag.

It really was a kickass photo, till the boto in the photo had to ruin it with his sexually confusing antics.

But you guys should really try this some day! It's loads of fun. When I was flying down a down a hill, dodging and shooting antlions, and cranked on the handbrake to get the jeep to skid into position for a photo and quickly snapping the shot in a split second before grabbing the brake again and trying to stop the jeep from flipping and avoid getting killed by antlions, I realised how much this actually makes you feel like a photojournalist in a war torn country.
