After hearing the story of a man who shot himself to see what it felt like and then 6 months later did it again to see if it was the same, I am nolonger surprised by what Americans do.

heh, well in the town I grew up in our only real exposure in the network news was some kid getting busted for downloading porn at school, so you guys one upped us I guess.

Well we've had a lot of exposure in the news these past few years.Hell even our high school has been exposed a lot...I use to ride the bus with a guy that was gay...and well..he sodomized (sp?) this little boy.I don't know how many years he got in prison, but anyways the news spread like wildfire and pretty much overnight all of northern alabama knew about it.He was a cool guy...but damn..

I'd like to read the official court reporters transcripts of what he said.

It said he posted $10,000 bail back in 2002 when he was originally arrested for the DUI, and now he gets to sit in jail for 4 months until his next court date, at which he'll most likely get sent back to jail for quite a long time. LOL, I guess if you're going down, might as well do it in a drunken blaze of glory.

Heh, when I was in High School, some idiot downloaded porn at home and brought it into school to watch it on a school computer.

The teacher found the stuff on the computer and said "Who put this on here?"

He proudly announced "I did sir!" :laugh:

He wasn't quite right in the head that kid.

Anyway, certainly didn't make the news, but he got suspended for a week or something because of it.
 
One time I took a dump in the trash can next to my teacher's desk.

Yeah, it still irks me that so many people judge a whole country based on a few idiots they saw sensationalized in the media.
