All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone

I got it a while back, not given it the time of the day worth of a listen, though. Too many other new albums to drool over.

Just listened to the entire thing....amazing. Can't believe I didn't get it when it had leaked.

yeah got it when it leaked, So good, the sound has really matured alot, i was on their myspace earlier and saw they are doing gigs in europe, the closest one for me is in london, aw god i'd love to go to one of their concerts...

Got the leak aswell, but haven't given it enough mileage to form a proper opinion. Sounds good though.

Gah, I actually feel guilty about having all their stuff downloaded since they're a genuinely great band, but I can't find their CDs anywhere anyway >_<

Eh, we don't have them over here. I normally don't bother buying CDs online either...

Birth and Death of the Day, and Catastrophe and the Cure are awesome tracks.

Anyone going to see them live?

I'll be at the March 4th UT show and March 5th show in Austin. Yes, two nights of awesomeness... and then March 6th is my birthday.

Bought this from HMV yesterday. Awesome album, by far their best (if a little short??).

Handed it across the counter, the guy scanned it etc and then went 'really good album, awesome actually. do you have any of their others?'

Small world.

When I bought The Earth... a few Christmasses ago the guy behind the counter said pretty much the same thing.

*sigh* why is it that whenever a band I like comes close to where I go to college, I am somewhere else. On the 14th they will be an hour away, but I will be in New York that week. Ugh.

Great album...

Got it when it was leaked, I might go and pick it up the next time I head out in the direction of Best Buy.

By the way, I think I read somewhere that all the ones being sold at Best Buy and other big retail stores don't come with the remix cd. All the ones sold online and in small independent stores have it. There's a couple of good ones on the remix (I like Welcome Ghosts and Catastrophe and the Cure).

And I have to admit I did get the leaks but I'll be buying everything at the show so maybe that'll make up for it.

Right, well I gave it a good proper listen this week through college and it certainly is an amazing album. However, what I liked most about The Earth... is how the song names really seemed, to me, to reflect a sense of what they were titled. The songs here are great, but I'm not feeling the same atmosphere I got with The Earth...

Hard to say what I mean, but I know what I'm talking about.

Yeah, I could plot out entire music videos in my head just using the song titles as a theme for their other stuff. I read an interview somewhere where they said they decide on titles for the songs early on when they're still skin and bones, then let that influence the mood of it, rather than vice versa.

Yeah, this is a great album n' all, but for me, it's not reaching the atmosphere The Earth... created.

Oh my gosh...
Just got back from Explosions concert at UT...
They are amazing. If you ever get a chance to see them live, DO IT.

setlist:
First Breath After Coma
Welcome Ghosts
Yasmin the Light
Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean
What Do You Go Home To?
Catastrophe and the Cure
Your Hand in Mine
Only Moment We Were Alone

That setlist has like 4 of their songs that I really love.

Tomorrow... I'm seeing them again. :D
