Something I noticed. In the past I've often visited the cs:source part of this forum.
Back then, and I speak two weeks ago max, there was an average of two or three viewers while the HL2 part had an average of 100 viewers.
Since a couple of days the counterstrike part increased with over thirty times as much users as the weeks before.
U can say what u want of the strategies from Valve, but i think they are damn effective, dirty but effective. :bonce:

Why dirty? they release media, everyone wants more information it's normal, what's so dirty about it?

The dirty part is media is released and no product is seen for years at a time.

The waiting between media and release is always too long.

i dunno what they're trying to do , they could show some DoD:Source movies lol

Or they could release some HQ CS:S footage....no more shakycam.

hehe, it wasnt really anything to do with valve (well it sort of was) but many e-sports sites advertisng the no shield thred/info which got a lot of people to come on. Such as http://www.schroet.com/scenenews.php?id=4981 . Now just this site has more than 300,000 members... so i would think a lot came from here :)
