Girls and boys are raised differently, treated differently, and expected to do different things. Male and female bodies have different parts, and use different hormone levels. Male and female brains operate differently. Males and females are genetically wired to act and think differently. It's not a case of whether one is "superior" to the other - we just have different biological imperatives.

But you didn't really explain why that changes how males and females have different mental states when it comes to sex. From everything I have seen in adult females they don't. And I haven't seen anything that proves 14 year old girls have a different mental state than 14 year old boys. Sure, our society treats it different, that's my entire point, but there is nothing that proves it is physically any different.
 
I dont get why everyone gets so pissed either way. If the girl/boy wanted it and liked it, I dont see why everyone acts like the kid's going to grow up to be a nasty skank whore, or a psychopath. I mean, yeah the adult should get in trouble, but I think everyone blows the "damage" to the kid way out of proportion. If anything, its the society that does the harm after the fact I think.

We should be pissed. An adult is taking sexual advantage of a 14 year old kid. I don't see why sex of the victim/offender plays in to how pissed we should all be.
 
ask the women 20 years down the road whether they've been damaged ..they're children being taken advantage by adults

No doubt, im not arguing against that. If everyone's pissed about the taking advantage of part, then Im with ya. But if everyone's pissed because it causes some kind of "serious mental damage" or something, then im not so sure. I cant see how how it can be that damaging if they wanted it. I think the real damage come from how the society deals with it and causes the kid to be embarrassed, shamed and feel guilty.

Many people have sex they're 14. But yeah, it's something quite different when they're having sex with an adult, as he or she is taking adcantage of their curiosity and lack of maturity.

But you seem to assume that a 14 year is capable of good judgement in that type of situation, they aren't. Any adult can take advantage of that and exploit it.

I just dont understand how that translates into harm. Being exploited for your naivety doesnt seem like it would be terribly harmful to me.

They want to have sex, they have sex. An older person takes advantage of this. The older person should be punished accordingly for taking advantage of them, but the girl/boy just had sex like they wanted. Idunno, I just never felt hurt when someone takes advantage of me in a situation when I dont know what im doing, especially when I still get what I wanted. I guess when sex is involved it would be a little different because its a little more personal... but then thats just back to society making sex a taboo.

Idunno, i never experienced it, or knew anyone who has. I dont know what im talking about tbh.

Its not just with sex, it applies to everything. If you take advantage of an old ladies bank account because she isn't mentally capable to stop you then that's illegal, even if she gave you her bank account information willingly.

To be applicable to this situation though, it would need to be like the guy manages her bank account for her, but skims a little off the top for himself. Thats wrong and illegal if she didnt agree to it, and he should be punish for such, but she still got what she wanted (someone to manage her account) and how does that create any personal harm to her?
 
If I was 14 years old and a relatively good looking female teacher sent me nude pictures, I wouldn't feel "assaulted" at all. In fact it would be a good thing, if only for the blackmail material. You could force her to give you a good grade in exchange for not making the pics public/telling people about it, and of course, weather or not you want anything more than that is your choice, you can always just say no and threaten with pressing charges.

I guess she wouldn't take no for an answer and thus the kid told people about the matter?

I thought explaining that male and female brains work differently might be a useful answer. Did you take biology in high school? You kind of learn about this in that course.

What you are basing this idea that their brains "work differently" in that situation on and what evidance do you have of this? Your high school biology class?
