im playin through HL again & there are a few things said that made me think, at the begining of the game(HL) were told that gordons "administrative sponsor" is classified.
could it be that gordon SPONSOR is indeed the gman!!!
i think gordon knows who the gman is & that there is a hidden,secretive side to gordon that we know nothin about.
eg, in nova prospekt we hear breen waffling on to the combine how inefficiant they are & that how freeman is just a man, how is gordon able to survive combat not just with the combine but also the marines & those assasins! my theory is that the gman has chosen gordon & trained him for a higher cause that of defending planets! from combine invasion. the reason gman doesnt interfere himself is because mankind need a hero figure, a MESSIAH, to rally round & thus strenghten the resistance, which gordon has done. just a thought , but then again WTF do i know anyway hahaha!
