What is AF and what should i set it at to make games lokk the best???
Ati 9600
512 ram
2 ghz P4
 
It's Anisotropic Filtering; and this is the wrong forum to ask.
 
AF stands for 'Aaarf-Life File' and its the thing everyone cant seem to shut up about at the minute.

To get yer games to run the best download the aaarf-life file scurge code and comile some c++'s and then turn them all on. Then you'll be steady away till the cows come home my friend! :cheers:

Antisropic filtering makes your textures look better. You should set it as high as your card will handle (it will decrease performance but will look better). A perfect example to test out AF is to load up DoD. First play caen without it and then trun it on and see the difference it's huge. However, on newer games it doesn't make such a drastic difference but it still makes it look better.
