Anyone else get this feeling?

Anyone else get the feeling that HL2:ep1 is like a Movie there is just so much scripted things if its good or bad I dont know...I bought a game not a movie but well its very cool BTW my first post!11

yea it was very movie-ish. And i hated having to run like 10 groups of people around the town, so very very annoying.

Why does everyone dislike interesting cinematic sequences? If there was no story at all, and the game was just a shooting gallery, I wouldn't have seen much point in playing the thing at all (in fact, the shooting in general was nothing new, just a rehash of many things we've seen before in HL2). The best feature of Episode One, and certainly the most entertaining, is its story.

yes. definatley. A the beginning it had a seriously awesome and cinematic feel.

My thoughts exactly. By far my favourite feature of E1 is its awesome story aspects and scripted sequences, which in my oppinion are much much better then Hl2's.
