Anyone interested in a tournament?

I'm trying to organize a tournament, but I've got a dilemma. I've got no prizes, or contestants, and I'm not sure where to start. Since asking around for sponsorers first would be stupid, seeing as I've got no one participating, and asking around for registrations would be stupid, since I've got no prizes, I was just wondering if anyone would be interested. If so, I'm thinking of having 2 ladders. A 3-man-team ladder, and a solo ladder. If you think either would be fun, would you let me know, because maybe then I could show the possible sponsorers all the people that may be participating.

So um, post if you're interested in either ladder, or if you've got comments or suggestions, those are always appreciated too. Thanks.

Sounds cool, I used to play in BF:V tourneys so a HL2 DM tourney sounds nice. The BF:V tourney didn't have prizes though, instead they had it set up like an ongoing battle; with a map on their website that showed which faction held what terroritory. It was fun.

Oh man guys thanks, I got totally rejected at the steam forums, I'm glad you guys are interested. I'll keep this forum updated on what's going on as far as sponsoring, it's gonna be a hard time finding a site to sponsor us though.

That sounds like a good idea too, I was thinking of settling up a permanent ladder later on.
