Anything Before CHapter 10

Ok I just recently started playing HL2 again and I am on CH 10. Naturally I forgot most of what happens before it.

I am mostly interested in Chapter 6-9 but if somebody can give me a quick overview of 1-5 that would be great.

PLEASE: no spoilers of what happens after 10 or even in 10.

EDIT: I am asking for the storyline, and if anything cool in the action if possible.

G-man plops you on the train. You meet Barney who is undercover with the metro police. You meet Alyx who takes you to meet Dr. Kleiner and his teleporter. You escape the city on the mudskipper. You arrive in black mesa east. You meet Eli and Dr. Mossman and Dog. The combine invade and capture Eli and Mossman. You flee through Ravenholm. You take the highway to Nova Prospekt. You enter Nova Prospekt where the Combine turn humans into Stalkers and Overwatch Soldiers and where they have taken Eli and Mossman. You meet up with Alyx...

Can you elaborate on this a bit more... I dont remember that part??? Is it directly stated or is it something I have to piece together.

No clip out after you defeat the last antlion guard. (before the walls). You can see the two combine buildings superimposed over the prison buildings.
