I was considering this one for my friend who's also getting an x800 xt. It'll be in stock on september 8th over @ newegg, and I was curious, is this the same as the x800 xt platinum, or is it better/worse?

I think you shouldn't be posting. And obviously it isn't.

Good listing wartime.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about it I don't think you can find an AGP XT that isn't a PE. Just PCI-E ones.

no, actually, the clock speeds are the same of the XTPE and the Asus one...

Isnt the Raadeon 9800 XT better then all of them i think so?

No! i'ts from 2003, these are all new cards released a few months back. Where have you been!?

And aren't the regualr X800 XT's PCI-e?

The ASUS X800 XT has a core of 525mhz, while ATI XT PE is 520, while ATI XT is 500. So, in all wouldn't the ASUS card be best? Or is it missing things/slower in other things that the ATI XT PE isnt?

Since ASUS is adding on to the ati chipset, how could it be worse? i think its better if anything.

both cards (x800xt and x800xtpe) come in both AGP and PCI-Express

Where did you hear that wartime? All i've been hearing and reading is that AGP has the x800xt pe and that the x800 xt is only for PCI-E.

i read it on ati.com

EDIT: Would they lie to me? I can't trust anyone now...

it's slightly slower then the other pe cards. but still a good card.

read on teamradeon.
