ATI and Nvidia w/ Half Life 2

Is it really that critical that ATI powers nvidia by 20 FPS in the benchmark with HL2? Both cards are so substantially powerful that you won't notice any difference in FPS nor performance. I can understand that it would apply to someone with a lower level rig and the video card is the juice of the machine; but aside from that, if you have a 6800 or x800, it doesn't mean shit.
Both will perform smoothly with all settings turned max.

Well with ATI you get free eggroll....err.....HL2. While there may be no noticiable FPS difference I think the free game speaks volumes.

Either card will be great for future games. You really can't go wrong.
