Hello folks,

I have an ATI- Half-Life 2 voucher & need sum info on its redemption….
When they send the the game, I directly have to install & play the Game OR I have to then register and…… In order to play a single-player Missions…. ?- Does it creates any complications Like have to register over & over due to sum bug, which I heared about ?

I am gonna get Standard edition: Includes HL2(full version) And CS:source… Right ?

Whats the Plus - if I upgrade 2silver edition ?

And what is CS:Source?

Any idea how much taxes can be implied ? U can be frm any country, how much taxes have u all guyz paid?

If you have broadband, take the Steam SILVER option. Your voucher is BRONZE and it costs $10 +tax to upgrade, which is worth it, as you'll get HL2 abd CS:S plus all the old stuff like Opposing Force and Half Life Source, PLUS Day Of Defeat Source when it comes out.

Exactly what I did - you get shed loads for a measly £6 (around $10). A very good bargain!

Well... i do not intend 2download, wana order the hard-copy(cd's) of the Game...

Whats the stuff me gona get in normal-voucher conditions ?
The ratail version in ur countries coasts how much ?

How much tax have U all Uk guyz paid ? 10$(delivery chrges) + Taxes( Or Custom chrgs )

THe voucher has a cd key on which you input into steam, and download the content. Thats what the voucher does, it doesn't give you a hard copy sorry. I don't know how you'd go about exchanging it for a proper copy. My first thought would be to sell that voucher for retail price to some friends or ebay, then use that cash to buy the game.

To further complicate matters only bronze, silver, and gold are available by download. (the ati voucher acts as bronze)
Retail copies are different. Normal retail is the same as bronze but you get a case and DVD(in europe) 5 CDs(in USA and Canada) and the Collectors Edition which comes with lots of crappy merchandise and all the games you'd get from gold (which also gives you lots of crap merchandise but a slightly different selection)

So to sum up you can only get silver if you want to download the game from steam. If you want all the games in a hard copy, buy the collectors edition and wait for the delivery. If i was you i'd simply use your bronze voucher, and upgrade if you want the other games. Downloading may take longer, but its easier for you.

edit: for the game prices and games included in the packages check the link http://www.steampowered.com/index.php
