Attention joystick users!

i know i am in a minority but i swear by joystick/mouse combo
back in the day i ranked top ten on clq stats for the firearms mod several times so no one is going to talk me out of it.

my question concerns controller issues with hl2. i recall having difficulty with the original engine and z axis, i had to edit a line into the config in order to finally make it work. unfortunately i have long since forgotten it. does anyone recall? or have any ideas what might be the fix for this problem?

typically i use an emulator when problems such as these arise but it does not work in cs:source. i suspect that is a result of anti cheat software.
any ideas? thanks for your time

I would think that's really only the one possible way for him to work it.

Just think of moving the mouse forward to walk a little bit, picking the mouse up and placing it at the bottom of the mousepad, walking forward a bit more, wash, rinse and repeat.

It would be impossible.

EDIT: Sorry, I don't know the cfg command you need.

i found mice to be cumbersome. i use a super sensitive trackball in my left hand
been workin on left handed aiming since the priginal quake, it took awhile to get good at it. rarely use the keyboard

Wow..that setup. I couldn't do it. Just thinking about it boggles my mind

PS have absolutly no idea what your cfg would be.
