that is not an eastter egg. that is simply how the cameras work. there is an invisible camera entity in that room with breen, which records him, and relays what is in front of the camera onto the big screens that you see him talking on.

Yes, this is the room where level designers stick Breen talking, and then use a camera entity to project him onto a TV screen, that you see when playing the game. You can fidn one of these rooms in every level where there's a TV screen. I don't think it's meant to be an easter egg.
