In one of the offical HL2 screens it was titled "Dr. Elvi Vance and Alyx provide link back to Black Mesa"

So does this mean we could go back to the old black mesa? But is it still there? I mean it is abandoned so many years ago, but wasnt it already nuked by the US Goverment/Gorden?

In HL2, you will NOT go back to BMRF sadly. As you will neither visist Xen again not so sadly.
That's all I know.

It probably means that they help link the story between the two games, since as Rimmer said Valve have confirmed we won't go back to the BMRF in HL2.
