Sorry for posting a new topic but i havent found anyone having the same problem that i get.
I can run HL2 just fine, for something like 5 to 20 minutes. What happens then is that the screen goes black and the pc freezes. All i can do is a hard reset.
My system specs:
P4 3GHz
1GB Kingston DDR 333
Sparkle GF 6800 / 128 MB (not overclocked)
Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS
What i tried so far:
Playing around with the graphic setting (aa, filtering...) ... wont help
Disabled sound .... wont help
Double checked my drivers: All up to date
Im running out of ideas here.
