Bug in Chapter "Entanglement" ?

Hi i am currently stuck in the chapter entanglement when i have to place 3 turrents in the various parts of the area. After placing the turrents i expected a lot of combine soldiers to appear but none of them appeared. Also Alyx said over the intercom that she will appear soon but never did. i waiyed for about 10 mins. Does anyone know anything about this problem? Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a missing trigger to me. Tried reloading from an earlier save?

yea, try to do as sulkdodds said, That will probably work.

Maybe there is another combine soldier hiding somewhere that you've missed.
Or a manhack, you must eliminate all enemies so alyx can show up

Try that.

He's at the spot where there are like 4 different doors in the jail that combine pour through. Alyx comes to Gordon thru the cieling, a vent.

Like stated, you'll probably need to go to an earlier save point/or a previous chapter to do that. Sounds like the trigger was glitched there.

This is getting ridiculous! People shouldn't have to put up with such basic bugs as trigger misses. Valve really shouldn't have released this until this last summer.

I would say bugs and driver glitches make up half the posts of this particular forum, whereas in other game forums it would be solely about the game itself!

Stop complainging, all games have bugs, try make it yourself, try solving the bugs...making games is complicated, and this bug we dont even know the cause...solve it yourself, its almost impossible.
